After setting a Guinness World Record for the “Most Participants in a Watermelon-Eating Contest” last year, Melons for Moolah is expanding in 2019 to an all-day festival on July 6, presented by LocalShops1, to benefit the Safety Harbor Public Library Foundation’s 20/20 Vision Campaign!
We’ll have plenty of food, drink and shopping from lots of great vendors, kids will enjoy water slides and carnival games in the Blake Real Estate – Realtor Micaela Morenz Kids Zone, adults can enjoy a great Crooked Thumb Brewery beer or samples from our Troubled Waters Brewing Home Brew Contest participants in the Action Pro Realty Biergarten and all ages can take part in our fun-filled watermelon-themed contests in the Gigglewaters Stage and Contest Area, featuring entertainment from DJ Les ‘n More! And we’ll end the night with screening of the summertime classic “The Goonies” on our 25-foot-tall Seadog Cottages Screen in the park!
